This antifreeze is suitable for all engines, with the exception of B4A and B4D. We would like to inform you that, following developments regarding the characteristics of the cooling systems of Dacia and Renault vehicles, a new type of antifreeze recommended by the manufacturer has been introduced, namely Type E antifreeze. The new antifreeze can be identified by the "RX Type E" marking combined with a specific dark blue color. We remind you that RX Type D antifreeze, previously used for cooling systems of Dacia and Renault vehicles, comes in two variants, both with a neon yellow color:
• Old RX Type D Antifreeze/Coolant used for all Dacia and Renault vehicle engines,
• New RX Type D Antifreeze/Coolant used exclusively for B4D and B4A engines. The old RX Type D antifreeze and the new RX Type D antifreeze (for B4D and B4A engines) are miscible and interchangeable.
However, the supplier's and manufacturer's engineering recommendation is to completely replace the coolant, if possible, in accordance with the technical documentation's predictions. Below you will find the miscibility and interchangeability criteria between Type E antifreeze and Type D antifreeze:
• Old RX Type D with RX Type E, can be mixed and are interchangeable. The engineering and supplier's recommendation is to completely change the coolant. If only refilling the liquid, we confirm that the mixture is compatible.
• RX Type E and New RX Type D (B4A & B4D engines) CANNOT be mixed and are NOT interchangeable.
• Using RX Type E for B4A and B4D engines damages the water pump. Instructions for use - the product is used undiluted, freezing temperature -21 degrees.
